Summer Programme

This year the CUH school on Puffin Ward were delighted to be able to provide school-based July provision to the patients on the ward.  The children engaged in various workshops including Science, Beekeeping and much more. We even had a magician come in on our last day and the children loved participating in the magic tricks. 

Thanks to Anda and Mary (CUH beekeepers) for giving the children an insightful workshop on the role Bee’s play in promoting biodiversity. The children got a well-deserved break from the ward and were able to go and see where the CUH bees are located and they even got to put on the bee suits and see them in action. We had a fabulous 4 weeks with the children during July and hope to run it again next year.
